Walking along we will arrive near the dome of the observation post of W.T. “neu” type. The dome was accessed through a ladder where there was a station on tilted chair. Lower part of the trunk was occupied by a second member of the staff. Standing on the top of the rampart we have a good view on walls and ramparts of the fortification. It should be noted that before the first world war, there were no trees around the fortress. An open space enabled to conduct observations even up to 15 km away.
