Now we are approaching the keep of the fortress, i.e. the last resort, separated from the rest of the fortifications by an additional rampart and a postern linking it to the central part of the complex. There are two wells in the courtyard of the keep, each 28 m deep (20 meters to the water surface). There used to be one more well in the infantry shelter. From the keep’s courtyard we go up towards the fortress rampart.
