Walking along the rampart path we approach another observation post before the exit from ramparts towards bakery. From this place we have a great view of the Water Gate, two caponiers and Carnot wall. As we go down, we approach a two-level caponier of the Law Bastion. Here we can see firing holes for leading fire along the rampart and the area in front of the Water Gate. . The stairs connecting the storeys have survived until today, so have the places in which 37 mm cannons were mounted during the modernization of the fortress of 1890 and 1893, as well as fireplaces and latrines.
